How it works
1. Discovery (free, 30 minutes)
We get on a call. You tell me what you’re trying to do, who it’s for, and what you’ve already got. I tell you whether I’m a good fit and roughly what it’ll cost.
2. Scope and quote
I send a written scope and a fixed-price quote within a day or two. No surprises. If you want changes, we adjust before signing anything.
3. Design and build
I design in the browser and share progress as I go. You review, give feedback, we iterate. Typical builds take 2–4 weeks for a focused marketing site, 4–8 weeks for larger sites with a CMS.
4. Launch and handoff
I deploy the site, configure DNS, set up analytics if you want them, and hand over the codebase. From there you can take it over, hire me on a care plan, or come back when you need changes.

How much does a custom website cost?
Marketing sites and brand sites start at $3,000 for a small site (3–6 pages, fully custom design and build). More involved sites with CMS integration, e-commerce, or larger content models usually land in the $5,000–$15,000 range. I quote a fixed price after a short discovery call so you know exactly what you're getting.
How long does it take to build a website?
A focused marketing site takes 2–4 weeks from kickoff to launch. Larger sites with a CMS, more pages, or migrations from an existing platform run 4–8 weeks. I work on a small number of projects at a time, so your build doesn't sit in a queue.
What tech stack do you use?
Most of my sites are built in Next.js (React) and deployed on Vercel for speed and reliability. For content-managed sites I use Sanity, Payload, or WordPress depending on your team. The stack is chosen to fit your project, not the other way around.
Do you handle the design too?
Yes. Design and development are the same job for me. You don't need to bring in a separate designer or hand off Figma files. If you have existing brand assets I'll work with them; if not, I'll design from scratch.
Will my site rank well on Google?
Every site I build follows current SEO best practices: semantic HTML, proper metadata, structured data, fast load times, accessible markup, and a generated sitemap. I won't promise rankings. Those depend on your content and competition. The technical foundation will be solid.
Can I edit the site myself after launch?
Yes, if we set it up with a CMS. I can build static sites for clients who don't need to edit (cheaper, faster, more secure) or CMS-backed sites if you'll be updating content regularly. We'll decide which fits your team during scoping.
