Portfolio site for a Los Angeles film producer
Chris Laszlo
Editorial portfolio site for an independent Los Angeles film producer. Filmography, photography gallery, and a clean about page. Built for a credit list that includes Tribeca-winning features and collaborations with Spike Lee and RZA.

The problem
Working film producers are evaluated quickly. The site has to communicate scale and quality without burying the viewer in marketing copy. The credits are the pitch.
Chris needed a site that read as serious and editorial, surfaced his filmography clearly, and worked equally well as a link a producer might paste into a Slack thread or as a longer browse.
What I built
Designed a type-first, full-bleed editorial layout. Filmography front and center, photography gallery, and an about page that lets the credits and posters do the work.
Built on Next.js 16 with Tailwind 4. Image handling tuned for the photography gallery: fast, sharp, responsive across phones, laptops, and producer monitors.
Tight metadata, OG cards, and JSON-LD for SEO. The site has to come up clean when someone Googles his name.

Outcome
Live at chrislaszlo.com. Calm, editorial, and built for the credits to lead.
